- Good Relationships just don't happen. They take time, patience and 2 people who really want to be together
- Be confident. Too many days are wasted comparing ourselves to others and wishing to be something we aren't. Everybody has their own strength and weaknesses, and it is only when you accept everything you are and aren't that you will truly succeed.
- We are all in the same game, just different levels. We are all in the same hell, just different devils!!
- Morality is doing what is right regardless of what you are told. Religion is doing what you are told regardless of what is right.
- The universe is a program, and we are all just sub routines.
- "I'd imagine the whole world was one big machine. Machines never come
with any extra parts, you know. They always come with the exact amount
they need. So I figured, if the entire world was one big machine, I
couldn't be an extra part. I had to be here for some reason."
- from Hugo (2011) - Love is like handing someone a loaded gun, pointed at your head, believing that they won't pull the trigger.
- Real Eyes, Realize, Real Lies.
- God doesn't make the world this way. We do.
- If god made us in his image, why aren't we invisible too.

Haphazard Thoughts (A Mixture of Original and Borrowed tit bits of wisdom) - Part 1

Original Sin
What is the nature of the guilt that your teachers call his Original
Sin?
What are the evils man acquired when he fell from a state they
consider perfection?
Their myth declares that he ate the fruit of the
tree of knowledge — he acquired a mind and became a rational being.
It
was the knowledge of good and evil — he became a moral being.
He was
sentenced to earn his bread by his labor — he became a productive being.
He was sentenced to experience desire — he acquired the capacity of
sexual enjoyment.
The evils for which they damn him are reason,
morality, creativeness, joy — all the cardinal values of his existence.
It is not his vices that their myth of man’s fall is designed to explain
and condemn, it is not his errors they they hold as his guilt, but the
essence of his nature as man. Whatever he was — that robot, in the
Garden of Eden, who existed without mind, without values, without labor,
without love — he was not man…
Religion
Religion is like a classroom where the students have to show up
everyday, but the teacher is not there. There are multiple books lying
around and each student claims one book to be the correct one. Some
argue hard for one book and its theorems and others for another one.
Finally on the last day the teacher walks in and informs the class that
he has been watching them the entire time. He praises the ones who have
chosen the correct book and lets them have fun, while the others....he
burns!

Remembering an Atheist!!! - The man who told us “life is worth losing”
George Carlin is Dead. Well not today, but three years ago.
For all the Carlin fans out there this maybe late news, but it is still something i cannot come to terms with. The worlds funniest atheist is no more! I was never a fan of stand up comedy, except for maybe a little Eddie Griffin and Katt Williams, but Carlin turned my world around, not only was he comic, but he seemed to be the real deal. For a young man searching for a religious foothold, Joe Pesci and the sun seemed like good alternatives to a god who demanded my presence in his holy place during holidays and money!!
I have never felt the loss of a book as much as I felt the loss of the The Best of Braindroppings (Mini Book) (Charming Petite Series) which was unfairly stolen from me by a friend and atheist on his way to managerial glory in ITC! Not only was Carlin a great orator and author, he was also an amazing actor. His small but memorable role in Dogma
is one that satire comedy fans will never forget. Here was a man who could make dark humor darker and delve deep into that twisted little corner of all our minds and urged us to bring out that smirking little devil, who doubled over with laughter at his jokes.
The thinking mans comic is no more. The man who encouraged us to think, reminding us every time that it was still legal!! I think he is up there smiling down at us, or knowing Carlin, he must be up there yanking gods chain...and maybe ruefully smiling at himself and saying"well, after all i said, looks like he does exist!"...I say he is up there and not as he himself put it once, "down below", because i believe if there is a heaven, there should be a special place for the funny men who made us laugh and forget our sorrows, and a very special place for a funny man who did all that and got us thinking.
To Carlin, wherever you are, they are lucky to have you!!! You will be missed!!!
